C# 12 has introduced collection expressions.
I didn't say which collection this is, causing this assignment to fail.
I must choose an array, a list, a span, or a read-only span.
It is not allowed to omit the type, for example, by using the var keyword.
The compiler does not know which collection type to create.
Use a more concrete collection initializer with the var keyword.
You can also nest collection expressions to initialize a jagged array.
The so-called spread operator indicates that some components are actually collections.
You can combine spreads with individual values, too.
But what if there is a method receiving a sequence?
Then, you can use the collection expression without specifying the type.
The compiler will substitute some internal collection type in these cases.

???? About Me ????
Hi, I’m Zoran, I have more than 20 years of experience as a software developer, architect, team lead, and more. I have been programming in C# since its inception in the early 2000s. Since 2017 I have started publishing professional video courses at Pluralsight and Udemy and by this point, there are over 100 hours of the highest-quality videos you can watch on those platforms. On my YouTube channel, you can find shorter video forms focused on clarifying practical issues in coding, design, and architecture of .NET applications.❤️
