Quick tip for running CSharp benchmarks!
BenchmarkDotNet is the absolute go-to tool for running your CSharp benchmarks.
Here are a couple of tips to keep in mind:
- Run your benchmarks in release mode
- Don't attach the debugger
However, the menu item that you probably want is hiding in Visual Studio.
If you DON'T want a debugger, you still need to go to a debug menu.
I know. It's weird.
But the menu IS there to start without debugging!
